My name is Alison and I am a teacher in London. When I get any free time from planning and paperwork I love doing something crafty. Some people say I have too many hobbies, but I like to pick and choose, depending on my mood.
At the moment my big thing is sewing and dressmaking (on my beautiful Janome DC3050), but I also dabble in:
- knitting
- crochet
- baking
- cake-decorating
- card-making
- jewellery making
- decoupage
- polymer clay …
Sarah and I have just been browsing your blog – we agree it looks very impressive and are looking forward to reading the next update. Your crafty creations look good too!
Going through all your posts now. Don’t know how I’ve missed you all this time! š
Great blog. Glad I found you ;:)
Your blog looks great! Glad I found it! I also have too many hobbies, but I love them all and I never get bored because I can switch back and forth!
I hate when people say you have too many hobbies. I am the same way! I like dabbling in many different things. It expands your horizons!
So glad to come across you blog I live in sunny Queensland and now our summer is coming. I want to make some dresses, I can get patterns to fit perfectly on my bust and hips but the waist is way off like 5-6 ” I spend copious time enlarging the waist by tapering in side seams and panels , other than that is there any thing else I can do. I am about to buy the Juliet Nouveau and Tara tank dress. Happy to get all your blogs now . Susan
